Regency period fireplace in grey Royal marble veined with white and some yellow. Exceptional in its small size, as seen in the small apartments of the Palace of Versailles. In the center of the lintel, a motif of symmetrical scrolls, with an inner frame molding descending to the bases. The jambs are curved, and the heads end in a scroll. The mantel follows the movement with crow’s beak moldings.
