Ancient fireplace from the early Louis XV period in French Saint Berthevin marble, predominantly purple/raspberry with light-colored pebbles of “eggshell” tone. It features a wide central shell surrounded by scrolls, with the molding continuing to the base of the jambs. The heads are inflated with a pear-shaped cartouche. The jambs with chapels are curved. The mantel is molded with a crow’s beak profile.
