Parisian fireplace from the 18th century in Brèche d’Alep marble. The ensemble as very rich sculpted details and elaborated moldings with swellings, arabesques, and foliage running over moldings. A beautiful shell in the center widens into foliage. The jambs are massive and equally harmoniously worked. The mantel is molded with a crow’s beak profile and ogee molding.
