Fireplace in Bordeaux stone from the Directoire period. It features finely crafted sculptures throughout, predominantly stylized flower motifs at the center of beaded diamonds, moldings, or rosettes. Scrapers are present at the top of the jambs. The stone, with light gray tones and nuances, gives a unique character. The shelf and lintel are solid and substantial.
