The Empire period fireplace in veined white marble consists of a molded mantelshelf, a lintel adorned with a central frieze of palm leaves and scrolls within a rectangle, and at the ends, an advanced motif of three assembled leaves. The two jambs each feature a half-column on a rear body, a molded base, and a capital. It has not yet been cleaned.
