Louis XVI period fireplace in light limestone from the Paris Basin. The lintel is sculpted at its center with a round rosette and sunflower flowers at the heads. The straight jambs are molded with a central round motif. The mantelshelf, highlighting the heads with a protrusion, is molded with a groove.
