Antique Directoire period fireplace in white marble. The centerpiece of the traverse is a finely sculpted vase with delicate handles, surrounded by cornucopias overflowing with fruits. Intricately carved round rosettes adorn the sides. Draped pleats cascade down the jambs. A sculpture of heart-shaped motifs frames the hearth. The shelf is molded with a profiled edge.
