Ancient Louis XV period fireplace in Paris stone (Clamart). It has a rich central shell on the lintel, crossed by a vine of laurel leaves that extends on either side. At the heads, the vine is found within scrollwork and spills over onto the protruding shelves. The jambs are curved and offer a slight movement of curved leaves in their center. The curved mantel is molded with a double fillet and a crow’s beak edge.
